Despite recent heat, we have been having just a great time this summer in Pittsburgh. My sister visited for a week and now my mom is here for a week! In the spring, I joined a wonderful moms club full of well-educated, informed, caring stay-at-home moms and it has just made life here so full. Playdates, meeting for coffee, lunches, dinners, even moms nights out, and in August, I am putting on a Corks n' Canvas night at our house. I am both excited and nervous about teaching a little art class. Can't say enough good things about the club!
The MOMS Club met at the library this morning, followed by a picnic lunch in the park. It was hot. 100 degrees hot. But, Max figured out how to cool off in the water fountain.
