Baby Brother looks healthy!

This morning we had our big 20 week ultrasound. Though Baby Brother was pretty much sleeping (might have had to do with Big Brother's 4am wake-up call), it was very exciting to see him again. The ultrasound tech measured and examined every inch of him: looking at his heart chambers (he has all four!), kidneys, watching his blood flow through his heart and his umbilical cord, checked his brain development (all there so far!), gazed at his lips and nose (all formed and no signs of a cleft), showed us all his bones from spine to ulnas, tibias, and femurs (oh my!), and really tried to get him to turn a little to peek at his boy parts. He had his legs and knees tucked in pretty tight, which was the opposite of the ultrasound a couple weeks ago. But, the tech said she'd lean definitely towards boy. It was so clear at the last ultrasound, that we all feel 100% positive it's a brother.

The radiologist doctor came in afterwards to tell us that he looked healthy and happy as can be. We are so joyful, so relieved, and so thankful for everyone's prayers for this little boy. Max keeps saying, "He gonna come out and play with me?" Oh yes, Max, just you wait and see!!!
