Well we've made it to Pittsburgh just in time for the city's 3rd most snowfall EVER. Our hotel lost power 2 days ago so we had to move to another hotel. Max much enjoyed sleeping between us to keep warm though. Marcus has compared driving in snowy/icy conditions to driving in mud. So, we've been mudding all over Pittsburgh! There are Presbyterian churches on every corner so we are feeling good about eventually finding a new home church. Unfortunately today though all the churches are closed due to the power outages and the State of Emergency issued throughout our whole area. Nonetheless, Marcus, Max and I have been driving up and down streets in the areas where we think we may want to live. We have been pleasantly surprised at how friendly and cheerful our potential neighbors are while they are out shoveling snow and waving at us as we pass. Lots more pics to come. We just wanted to check in and let everyone know we are ok and happy. We are actually pulling into South Hills mall right now to do some people watching. The mall is packed! Looks like everyone else is tired of being cooped up in their hotel rooms or powerless houses too.
