Here is our very first Mason family "holiday" postcard. With my art projects and Max, there was no way I was going to be able to get a Christmas card out, so we went with Happy New Year! Plenty of time to address during Christmas vacationing. :)
We had such a wonderful well-rounded Christmas. We spent the prior week in Natchez visiting Marcus's side of the family and Natchez friends. We had a little get-together with some of the latest crop of Natchez babies (Max, Liam Shea, Leah Tillman, Julia Claire Jex, and Caroline Carlton). We also had a historic get-together with both of my dad's moms on Christmas day. Then of course we enjoyed Natchez friends at the Ratcliffe's annual Christmas party that night. The day after Christmas, we took an extremely relaxing cruise out of New Orleans to Progresso and Cozumel (this was the awesome Christmas gift from my parents, that they dressed up like islanders and conga line danced through the living room Christmas morning to present to us!!! You can see pics of this on my sister's blog!!!). I almost didn't know what to do with myself on the cruise- everyone was clamoring to watch Max, feed Max, hold Max, love Max. It was indeed an incredible vacation!
